From our first meeting with the Nuclio team, it was clear they had the technical depth and vision—but lacked a brand that communicated it effectively. They had previously attempted to develop their identity in-house but hit legal roadblocks due to unavailable trademarks. The challenge was to find a distinctive, memorable name that aligned with their mission and could be protected internationally. At the same time, their visual identity needed to reflect the clarity and intelligence of their work while standing out in a space full of generic tech consultancies.

Solution

We began with a strategic naming process, exploring dozens of directions and testing each for linguistic viability and trademark availability. The final name, Nuclio, was inspired by the word “nucleus”—a metaphor for getting to the heart of the problem and initiating meaningful change. With the name secured, we built a brand identity that balanced modernity and intelligence, using clean typography, a minimal colour palette, and a flexible visual system. The identity was designed to communicate clarity, focus, and momentum—mirroring Nuclio’s ability to drive internal transformation for its clients.
